Regional Sales Manager - South East Asia_JD

 

Position Title: Regional Sales Manager – South East Asia

Location: Suzhou, China

 

Overview of Position

The RSM is a highly independent individual, focused on promoting GoodWe products and services in the industry and growing GoodWe market shares in SEA. The holder of the position will interact with current and future customers to ensure overall customer satisfaction and generate a deep understanding of the customer’s needs and the market requirements. He or she will also directly report to the Vice President of the Global Sales department.

The position will be an outstanding opportunity for a forward thinking, action-oriented professional looking for new challenges within a dynamic, growth-oriented company.

By becoming a part of the International Sales team in GoodWe at this early stage, there will be a chance to both leave a footprint in the successful market development and to also develop one’s own career in the dynamic and long-term growing renewable energy industry.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Major responsibilities

-  Prospecting, qualifying and acquiring new customers as well as managing existing relationship with customers in solar PV inverter wholesales/distributions, EPCs and related business within a defined region.

-  Develop business and product strategies with customer to ensure that GoodWe is their choice of inverter.

-  Visit customers acquire business deals, forge relationships, negotiate contracts, resolve issues and make arrangements as necessary.

-  Instill customer confidence based upon strong technical understanding of products/systems and implementation of that knowledge into customer solutions.

-  Translate client requests and market trends into high level of service, product modifications, new product developments and deliver growth in revenue.

-  Coordinate all technical activities related to customer and project success.

-  Frequent travelling to prospective and current customer locations and representing the company at trade fairs.

-  Gathering information about Solar PV market intelligence, ensure appropriate response strategies are formulated & implemented.

-  Be responsible for the rolling out of channel policies to partners. Engage in conflict mediation and channel policy enforcement.

 

 

Requirements

Business & Sales Expertise

-  Business development expertise with a proven sales track record with tier 1 companies.

-  Strongly networked in the renewable energy, preferable in Solar PV industry.

-  Ability to influence major stakeholders both internally & externally.

-  Strong communication skills including large group presentations & discussions.

-  Excellent organization skills with the ability to quickly assess priorities.

Customer Management Expertise

-  Excellent customer relationship management.

-  Able to confidently convey product benefits & cost advantages to customers.

-  Demonstrate professionalism in working with customer to resolve emergency situations.

Desirable Attributes

-  Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or of similar nature.

-  Fluent in English.

-  Professional experience in sales on an international level.

-  Solid experience with solar products within photovoltaic industry in SEA, preferably solar inverters.

-  Flexibility in working for highly fluctuating and demanding markets.

Service Manager- Korea_JD

 

Position Title: Service Manager

Location: Seoul, South Korea

 

Responsibilities

- Overall planning for the service in Korea

- Make service budget and control the costs

- Leading service engineers: A few of them right now, and several of them within a few years

- Implementing and leading 4 regional service providers

- Implementing and managing 2 service centers with part warehouses

- Communicate, cooperate closely with teams in head quarter as engineering & quality leader of Korea

- Training and engineering leader for service technicians of service providers and of distributors

- Customer satisfaction and handling complaints

- Leader of Korean certificates

- Collaborating with marketing & sales team some times for the sake of Service Sale

- Enforce a Service safety and integrity culture throughout the Service organization

- Review if service team & service providers are properly allocated, skillful, complying with directions of the company, and motivate them and improve their service capability and attitudes

 

Requirements

- Electric Engineer(電氣技士) or higher licensed

- Over 10 years of work experience with Min. 5 years of experience including Service of PV Inverters

- Knowledge of PV inverters and monitoring system

- Collaboration skills with other units in the company

- Team leadership

- Positive and acting rather than negative, complaining and hiding behind the issues

- Fluent in oral and written English or Chinese (Fluent Korean and Korea work permit, if foreigner)

Technical Support Manager for Benelux - Netherlands_JD


Position Title: Technical Support Manager for Benelux

Location: Netherlands office

 

The Benelux subsidiary is based in Utrecht, Netherlands. From there, GoodWe Benelux Service Center will address and cover Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg.

In order to build a strong technical support structure we are looking for an experienced

Technical Manager for Pre-Sales activities and After-Sales Services in Benelux (“the area”)

Reporting to: Overseas Service Director of Global Technical Support Department (China HQ).


Major responsibilities:

·       Pre-sales

-        Collaborate with sales team to plan and complete technical exchange with international customers, train clients and set forth detailed technical solutions etc.

-        Prepare presentation documents, technical explanation and other related files including bidding documents

-        Analyze legal technical requirements and certifications for defined countries and drive execution of agreed and required certificates

-        Monitor market environment and provide competitive information

-        Analyze product roadmap and features and work closely with Marketing/Service Team to enable a product roadmap that will be highly competitive in the defined region

-        Partner with sales team, visit clients and project sites, support system planning and give guidance for PV system installations, service strategy and plan in target countries


·       After-sales

-        Establish the internal and external training system, localize training materials

-        Coordinate with sales team to organize training sessions, attend exhibitions

-        Define and constantly improve the after-sales service strategy in the area

-        Set up service structure and develop, manage and evaluate service resources in the area

-        Implement service level agreements in the area

-        Control service budget and costs in the area

-        Follow RMA process to keep them closed on-time

-        Define, implement, train and monitor Level 1 support function

-        Escalate Level 2 technical support and trouble shooting

-        Provide technical reports timely


Required experience and competence:

-        A technical bachelor degree from University, preferably in Electrical Electronic Engineering or similar

-        A minimum of 5 years work experience in a technical environment, preferably in the renewable industry

-        A minimum of 3 years professional experience in working with inverter technologies, e.g. R&D, service, pre- and post-sales, preferably for string inverters

-        Team management experiences preferred

-        Experience with distributed PV systems or ground power station would be a plus

-        Flexibility for working in highly fluctuating and demanding markets

-        International mindset for a multi-cultural environment

-        Fluent Dutch and English, French and/or Chinese a plus
